Horseback Riding Lessons

over 1,000 lessons given per year to children enrolled in Baltimore city community organizations

The program offers horseback riding lessons to children engaged in non-profit, after-school programs designed for low-income families in Baltimore City. These lessons take place across five horse training facilities situated in Baltimore and Carroll Counties, all lead by professional trainers. The program offers comprehensive support by providing transportation, training sessions, and opportunities to participate in equine competitions. Through the program, children not only acquire the skills of caring for and riding horses and ponies, but also gain valuable insights into the world of equine discipline. With an ongoing commitment, the program reaches around 20 children per day, four days a week throughout the year.
